Regional Firearms Laws

Vermont law provides for concealed carry of loaded firearms for both residents and nonresidents without a license or permit. A Vermont resident wishing to obtain a New Hampshire non-resident pistol/revolver license may submit a letter of good standing from their local police chief, or a non-resident carry license from any other state. Florida or Utah are commonly used.
